Everything you wanted to know about cats . . .

. . . but were afraid to ask!

The good lolcats people at I Can Has Cheezburger? have put up a very large chart of the different types of domestic cats. It's so large that it's a meaningless squiggle when displayed at small size. To give you an idea of how much detail it contains, here's a very small segment of it.

(Click the image for a larger view)

To see the whole image (3,200 x 2,400 pixels), click here, then click it again to enlarge it. You'll have to scroll from side to side and up and down to see the whole thing.

Thanks to I Can Has Cheezburger? for a very useful chart.

I didn't see manx cats anywhere

Mr. Pelham, it's a guide to cat coats and their colors - not breeds. Manx is a breed rather than a color, IIRC.

My mother had a cat- random-bred stray gotten from a shelter- that is a colorpointed lilac tabby calico, with white spots.

Very striking looking little thing. Pure product of lottery.
